The Prophecy was my first novel, and it's very dear to my heart simply because it's the one that got me over the writing "hump." I will always think of it fondly, regardless of whether people actually buy it or not. To me, financial success is far less important (at least, with this story) than whether or not people like it.

The surprising thing to me is that people enjoyed reading this one. I've had a few people even say something along the lines of, I couldn't put it down and I can't wait for the second one!

Far and away, the best compliment I've received, however, was from my Dad, who told me, "Halfway through, I forgot I was reading it because my daughter wrote it." Everything else runs a distant second to that one.

It will be on sale from 5 - 30 April, in celebration of releasing my second title, A Higher Purpose. For those waiting for Light's Bane, the second book in the Daughters of the People series, it is scheduled for release in June, if all goes according to plan.
