News Roundup

Some tips and news from around the Internet this week:

Cedar Sanderson published a blog post, How to Read, discussing ways to save and backup your digital library. Handy!

If you'd like to read Kindle-only books (like A Higher Purpose) but don't have a Kindle, here's an interesting blog post about a free Kindle app.

In other news, a group of scientists are learning about the differences in brain activity for writers and non-writers. Interesting stuff.

Last night, my son and I watched Pacific Rim. It's a nice, action-packed SciFi film in a Godzilla meets BattleMechs kind of way. What's not to love?

We don't have the Internet, cable, or satellite at home. Yes, our local video store loves us.

Today would've been my mother's 66th birthday. She passed away in 2009 due to complications from Crohn's Disease. I know, this is depressing and not book news, but it's what's on my mind today. She was a good woman and we miss her. I really hate that the grandkids didn't have more time with her. She adored them so!

Ok, so, just a little book news before I finish this. I'm making steady progress on editing A Wicked Love and writing the first draft of Tempered. More news soon!
