What happens when history and superheroes collide? This. (Wonder Woman was my fave, naturally.)

Speaking of collisions, a very interesting project has just been released. Foreshadows: The Ghosts of Zero began with music from which writers created stories. (Better explanation.) The finished project includes nineteen interlinked stories, songs, and illustrations of "dark science fiction." This one's definitely going on my Christmas wish list.

It's basketball season! Our local high school's first games of the regular season are tonight. My sister coaches the varsity girls and both my niece and nephew play, so we'll be there with bells on. I'd love to make it to a college game this year.

We already have an e-book cover for In All Things, Balance, and it is fantastic. I think there's time to do a formal cover reveal; otherwise, I'll do an informal one here once Tempered's released. L.J.'s done a marvelous job. Expect more of the same, cover-wise. After the first of the year, once the re-edit of The Prophecy is complete and I've done a light touch-up of Light's Bane (in my last re-read, I found one paragraph in which every sentence begins with the word "when" *wince*), I'm hoping to have her re-do the covers for those two so that the covers for the entire series match a little better.
On the reading front, I just finished the next to last book in the Mercy Thompson Series by Patricia Briggs. Fantastic series, if you like Urban Fantasy. While I'm waiting for the last book to arrive, I might go ahead and read Hard Magic, the first book in Larry Correia's Grimnoir Chronicles Series. It's the last book I have in my paperback to-read stack (had to get through Mercy's story first). Must visit bookstore...

Proud Mama time. Here's a graphic my teen-aged son created for a game he's developing. I asked him if he could smooth out the bullet's wake and maybe make the bullet clearer, and he gave me the look, the one that says, I know what I'm doing, Mom, don't nag. (All teenagers have that look down pat.)
Not bad for a seventeen-year-old, huh?
