I've been promising this story for a while, and at last, it's here. "The Christmas Surprise" is a short story featuring Dani Nehring and Dave Winstead. It's set during the Christmas after the conclusion of Light's Bane (Daughters of the People, Book 2) and is one of several stories available exclusively to newsletter subscribers, the only one to date not published elsewhere. All of these short stories are available for download in both ePub and mobi formats.

I've also added some bonus material in PDF format to what's available for newsletter subscribers, including the original Prologue to Light's Bane (cut from the finalized manuscript prior to publication). I'll hopefully be adding a bonus scene from In All Things, Balance (Daughters of the People, Book 4) when that story is published in February. Information on how to access all exclusive content and bonus material is available in the latest newsletter.
