A few days ago, I discussed possible changes for the Witches of Cullowhee Series, including a new series title and covers. Well, I’m very happy to announce that part of those changes are now being put into effect.
The series will henceforth be called the Cullowhee Heritage Series. The focus is still very much on the otherliness the women inherit, but by taking “witches” out of the series title, I’m hoping people will be more open to the milder witch elements. (My editor is still miffed because no sparks fly in these books. Maybe in another series!)
The new cover for the second book in the series, A Wicked Love, is now complete. It may take a few days or so to update the cover and series title online.
Many, many thanks to Marisa Gaither of Reading to Distraction for her input on the series’ rebranding. I’ve been contemplating these changes for months, but it was her review of A Wicked Love that really pushed me toward the lighter feel for the covers.
A Higher Purpose will also receive a new cover, though likely not until the second edition is released. I promise, that’s the last story I’m rewriting. Once it’s complete, I’ll be focusing on writing completely new stories in this series. I’m only planning a total of four stories in the Cullowhee Heritage Series, and yes, one of them will feature Migs. (He’s too adorable not to have his own story.) I haven’t scheduled writing these yet, but keep an eye out for more news in the next few months. Thank you all for your continued patience and support.
