I've got a relatively new series that's being published under my other pen name, Celia Roman, that I think you'll enjoy.
The Celia Roman pen name came about because I had this character and story world (that later became the Sunshine Walkingstick Series) that I wasn't sure I should publish under the Lucy Varna name.
Years later, I wish I'd kept everything under this name. The genres are very similar and I think there would've been a good crossover from the Daughters of the People Series to Sunny's books.
At any rate, about a year and a half ago, I stumbled across a kickass premade cover and turned it into a new series for the Celia Roman pen name called the Vanessa Kinley, Witch PI Series. This is a planned five-story series, with a prequel novella and four novels.
This series features Nessa Kinley, a cop turned private investigator, and her twin brother Nick, who are (they believe) half witches. The story is set in the fictional town of Crossville, Georgia, located northeast of Atlanta. These Urban Fantasy Mysteries have a touch of romance and a lot of action. Each story is a quick read and so much fun! I do believe fans of the Daughters of the People Series will enjoy reading about Nessa and Nick and the other characters inhabiting this story world.
Next week, in just five days, the second novel, A Witch and Her Familiar, is being released.
The novella-length prequel, The Single Witch's Guide to Online Dating, will go on sale in mid-March. However, you can pick up a copy for free for a limited time by subscribing to the Celia Roman newsletter.
If you'd rather start with the first novel, Between a Witch and a Hard Place, it's already available at a wide variety of online retailers.
Happy reading!
