You've probably noticed the new banner on my Facebook page (courtesy of L.J. Anderson, Mayhem Cover Creations) and the new look for this website. Yup, I'm making a few changes. Haven't settled on this look for the website yet. It's a bit too Urban Fantasy, I think, but we'll see.

I'm gearing up for a moderate marketing push, including blog tours, from October (when The Enemy Within will be released) through February (when In All Things, Balance will be released). During that time, I'll also release Tempered (December), Second Chance Christmas (November), and probably Say Yes (January). I'll be running a couple of sales, too, so those months will be a boon for readers of the Daughters of the People series all the way around.

Speaking of the Daughters of the People, I've added a Glossary of Terms to that website for everyone's convenience. Hopefully, this will help readers remember what each term is between finishing one book and picking up the next one.

And speaking of Second Chance Christmas, if you've hopped over to that page (and there's no reason you should've; don't even have a blurb up yet), you might have noticed that it will be the first in a series called the Appalachian Christmas Spirit. I'll have more on this later, but yes, I'll release a new (holiday) story in the series around Thanksgiving for a few years, depending on how well SCC is received.

It's been a really busy time around here writing-wise, if you couldn't tell from the list of books I'll publish this fall and winter. The eARC for A Wicked Love went out last week (if you were supposed to get one and didn't, let me know), I'm doing the first serious edit/revision of The Enemy Within (eARCs for that will go out on or before 1 September, so watch for them), am in the home stretch of the first draft of Tempered, and am about halfway through the first draft of Say Yes. 

This is totally not a complaint about the workload. I set up the publication schedule, after all, and am very satisfied with it and my ability to stay (mostly) on target. The good thing about this short burst of releases is the benefit to readers, who will have an abundance of reading material during the coldest part of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. Sure hope y'all enjoy it!
